Prior to co-founding Ergonomy in
2002, Steve ran a small marketing services business. He has spent most of
his career in the IT industry, where he developed significant marketing
experience.

His achievements include:

• Building a range of alliances in the mobile telecommunications market for a new entrant

• Management of a large team of telephone account managers responsible for managing relationships with smaller customers, generating about £175m pa for IBM. Under Steve’s leadership the volume and value of business generated by his unit increased by about 60%.

• Whilst in charge of marketing IBM UK UNIX products to the small & medium-sized company marketplace, grew revenues 10 percentage points faster than the market.

• Whilst in charge of marketing to IBM's small customers, initiated and ran a series of issue-based programmes which resulted in 20% revenue growth over the year (well ahead of the industry).
